Frequently Asked Questions

Are you reliable?

Our reliability is what sets us apart. If we say we're going to be there when you schedule us, you can count on it. We have built a reputation of being a reliable company, one customer at a time, and we look forward to earning your trust, too.

Do you only clean waterfront windows?

Nope! We clean any windows in homes and offices throughout the Lowcountry. Whether you need a window cleaner for your commercial building or your inland home, we've got you covered.

Are the cleaning solutions you use harmful to my pets or the environment?

No. We care about your and your family's safety. Waterfront Window Cleaning uses soap, water, and ammonia to clean windows.

Does a window cleaning include screen cleaning?

We do include a general wipe-down for your screens with exterior cleanings. However, we are happy to deep clean your screens for a small additional fee. Feel free to call us at (843) 812-1099 for more information!

My windows are tinted. Does that make a difference when I have them cleaned?

Yes, please be sure to notify us if your windows are tinted. We will not use any ammonia on windows that were tinted in the last three to six months.

Do I need to move furniture or anything before you arrive to clean?

No, there's no need to move your furniture! We will move anything necessary and put everything back in its place when we are done cleaning. All you have to do is relax and enjoy your newly cleaned windows!

Do I need to be home when you clean my windows?

While we love to meet our customers in person, it is not required for interior or exterior cleaning. Of course, you are more than welcome to be present while we clean, but we understand that many customers have busy schedules, and we aim to ease that burden.

If you only scheduled exterior cleaning, we ask that you unlatch the screens before you leave so we can remove and clean them as well.

Please feel free to leave us a note if you have any special requests. And rest assured we wouldn’t allow anyone to work on your home that we wouldn’t allow in our own.

My windows were cleaned, but are still foggy. Why?

Foggy windows are usually indicative of a broken window sill. That window should be replaced to restore total clarity.
